David Ben White in conversation with Pierre D’Avoine.

Pierre d’Avoine is an award-winning architect who runs a London-based office and practices internationally.
Pierre has collaborated with artists including Helen Chadwick on proposals for the Elephant and Castle, Daniel Harvey and Heath Ackroyd on HOST at Venice Biennale 1996 and the composer Diana Burrell on TRAP at the RIBA.
In 1985 Pierre taught at the Bartlett School of Architecture and Chelsea School of Art. He was guest professor at the Welsh School of Architecture (2003-2009) and at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, School of Architecture (2009-2011). He currently teaches postgraduate design studios at the Cass and Kingston Schools of Architecture.
