Tatiana Wolska, solo exhibition, Les Variations du Possible, Domaine departemental de Chamarande, France, 19 May – 20 June 2021

The exhibition looks back on fifteen years of the protean work of Polish artist Tatiana Wolska, from her studies at Villa Arson until today. It brings together nearly eighty drawings and sculptures, including some works produced for the occasion in situ .

Practicing sculpture as much as drawing, installation or architecture, Tatiana Wolska develops an approach based on economy and simplicity of means and materials, often making her works from elements (plastic bottles , scrap wood, abandoned furniture) recycled and sublimated to give them a new life, poetic this time. Between warming up and exhaustion, the artist’s gestures generate twisted and fluid shapes, which unfold in the exhibition space like living organisms.
