Sława Harasymowicz solo show at Narrative Projects, 17 June – 30 July 2016

Sława Harasymowicz’s solo show, Radio On, was the second ‘chapter’ in a three-part multi-disciplinary project. Conceived as a fluid interrogation, the series exposes the inherent tensions between images, words and historical records in invoking hidden, inconvenient or unwanted memory. 

The project was guest curated by Dominik Czechowski, in partnership with Centrala Gallery, Birmingham and the Poetry Library, Southbank Centre.

Exhibition Event: Sława Harasymowicz was in conversation with artist and academic, Uriel Orlow at Narrative Projects. The event included a performance of Harasymowicz’s ‘broadcast’: responding to archival records, the artist re-applies form in order to open up a historical event as well as the notion of re-enactment.
