Sława Harasymowicz, Jest już dzień jasny (ordre de bataille), (BWA) Tarnów, Poland 18 May – 24 June 2018

At the core of the show is a concise military document: a report of a battalion’s progression through southern Poland in the Polish defensive campaign in September 1939. The document stops short at the very point of the catastrophe (the military failure). 

The artist uses moving image, works on paper, mural and sound to visualise patterns of ideological disciplining of memory and imagination and the personal as part of the collective body.
