Jyll Bradley: permanent sculpture installed at Strange Cargo, Cheriton, UK

Jyll Bradley has recently completed a new, permanent sculpture, commissioned by arts organisation Strange Cargo, Cheriton, UK.  The work ‘tags’ Strange Cargo’s building marking the creativity within and the woman whose energies brings it to life. Brigitte (Espalier) is based on an historic design for an espalier – a structure built for growing fruit trees. Situated on a southerly wall, this colourfield sculpture acts as a sun-dial, dramatically changing through the course of the day.  By night it becomes a beacon lit by LED.
