Jyll Bradley has been shortlisted for The Evelyn Commission a new initiative produced by York Art Gallery, York, UK.

Jyll Bradley – along with Ruth Ewan and Marinella Senatore – has been shortlisted for ‘The Evelyn Commission’ at York Art Gallery. Each artist is invited to propose a new work which responds to the City of York’s rich history, its environ or society, past or present. This inaugural commission has been funded by two anonymous donors and the resulting work/s will be exhibited at York Art Gallery or its new Artist’s Garden. The winning work will enter the gallery’s permanent collection in perpetuity.
