Anita Witek: Clip at the Wexner Center of Arts, 3 February – 15 April 2018

With a monumental, site-specific installation, Anita Witek makes her debut at the Wexner Centre for Arts in Ohio. Responding to Peter Eisenman’s unique architectural style, Witek has created Clip in a project curated by Lucy Zimmerman. The project marks Witek’s first site-specific installation in the US.

Drawing on her immense archive of printed material, Witek extracts the central motif of the images, using the offcuts to create large immersive installations. Creating spaces that interrupt our perceptual habits, Clip envelopes the viewer in a landscape of fractures and fissures.
