Born in Poland, 1983.
Grzegorz Stefański lives and works in London and Warsaw.
Stefański mainly works with time-based media such as moving image, photography and live situations. Placing individuals at the centre of his practice, Stefański confronts them with situations at the nexus of psychology, performance and film. His artistic practice is primarily concerned with identity and embodiment, where Stefański considers bodies as a point of convergence, where internal and external forces meet and interact.
