l’étrangere is pleased to announce its participation at the Vienna Contemporary with a solo presentation of Anita Witek.

Reset, initiated in 2016, is an ongoing series of works concerned with capturing a moment in time. It is about taking stock and re-setting one’s memory through using paper remnants accumulated over the years. This activation of her own archive re-sets Witek’s memory that enables the creative process. The artist arranges unstable, momentary, fleeting compositions that she then captures through an analogue camera.
